I was up in New York last month and painted a logo for a local business, Emile’s Candies. It was great being home and doing something for a local business I remember from when I was a kid.
We kept it simple….for now. There was a time when businesses had their logo painting done by hand, before the days of vinyl signs. So it was decided to paint the logo as a way to express the traditions of the store.
I cant tell you how many people stopped by to explain what the store meant to them and how excited they were to see the wall get painted. I see that type of excitement for murals, but hardly ever for logo painting.
And yes, they fed me alot of candy!!!!
